May You Be

‘May you be’ is a painting of a bull in Spain. The bull (toro) is a symbol of this country with its mountains and sea. I've been living in the village of La Herradura (province of Granada) since 2011. This seaside village is embraced by mountains. This Acrylic painting is painted on an old canvas which I was gifted by an elderly artist who no longer needed it. I did not frame the painting and I like the roughness of the canvass, it gives it an extra energy, adding to the attractiveness of this painting. 'May you be' is part of a series of bull paintings, which I tend to paint with a friendly energy, to emanate a positive intention. I've also incorporated a message, you could say a blessing, for the person who will become the owner of this painting.
