My mandalas are very different from my normal art, apart perhaps my use of colours and the background gives away my 'hand'. But I cannot deny that as an artist I don't like to limit myself just to one genre. I love to create impressionist art, I like to create ceramic sculptures, I write books and I like creating mandalas. Although I don't see my mandalas as my main focus of my art journey, it simply is a pleasure creating them. I've created a blog called 'Are my mandalas and mandala women art?' as it is an important question for me.

Mandalas are, I believe, not necessarily considered to be art, see blog above, and for this reason I ask less money for original mandalas than for my other artworks.

At first I had no intention to include mandalas in this website, but then I spoke to several people and they convinced me that creating mandalas is also part of me. I have created many mandalas over the years and created gift cards and post cards with the, it has been a part of my income and that is fine. I also conduct mandala workshops, these days (2021) both online and in my studio.

I also created personalised mandalas for clients. The mandala can then include a symbol, or an important date for example. Mandalas do tend to emanate a tranquil atmosphere and are excellent for workspaces, healthcare waiting rooms, etc. But it can also serve as a reminder of a special event, such as a wedding, a birth, moving house... Check out 'personalised mandalas'.
