I have been selling postcards and gift cards with images of my work for many years, decades even, usually during art festivals and exhibitions. Covid restrictions have made these events more rare for me and selling my art cards was not a priority for me.
These are mandala folded gift cards with envelopes, sold as a set of 12.
During my Saturday morning art class I showed the ladies some drawings that I created many years ago, when I was still living in Italy. The ladies in my online artclass liked them so much they asked me to print cards of them.
So I did. They told me that my general artwork is rather abstract, or at least painted very loosely with surreal colours and that these cards show that I can indeed draw. This makes me smile. Yes, I used to also paint landscapes and portraits when I lived in Italy. But I prefer to paint in this loose style. However, I do like creating these pointillism drawings and might even create some more of the village where I live now, in Spain.
I'm selling my cards as sets. This is mainly because of shipment reasons as it would be too costly to just ship one card at a time.
I also decided to print some double gift cards with envelopes of some of my latest artworks. I have a series of 4 Buddha images and a series of 4 bull images. The colours on the cards are really beautiful.
